FUNWORK Unveils the Secret Weapon for Top Players

Signed contracts with Shanghai SCE Plaza, Global Harbor, Want Want Building, the KK 100 in Shenzhen, and the Beijing International Convention Center and National Convention Center

 


In today’s commercial leasing market, co-working is no longer an emerging concept, but the leading force behind leasing office buildings. It is also an important part of the commercial real estate strategy. Based on the strategic planning of the major operators, China’s flexible office supply can be expected to grow in 2018 and in the future. For example, as of June 2018, FUNWORK's national layout covers Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Xiamen, Zhengzhou, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing, Ningbo, Wuhan, Chengdu, Chongqing, and other core cities, and the contract area is expected to reach 200,000 square meters by the end of 2018, and to exceed 1 million square meters by 2020.

According to the forecast of Small Business Labs, the number of people working in co-working offices around the world will rise from less than 1 million in 2016 to 3.8 million by 2020. Jones Lang LaSalle expects flexible offices to account for 30% of corporate real estate by 2030.

It is reported that FUNWORK has signed contracts for the Shanghai SCE Plaza A7, Global Harbor (15-16F), the Want Want Building (2F, 3F, and 6F), KK 100 (41F) in Shenzhen, the Beijing International Convention Center (3F), and floors 4 and 5 of the National Convention Center, generating a total increase of 40,000 square meters of operating area. FUNWORK revealed that in the next 100 days it will continue to sign nearly 10 projects with landmark buildings in 1-1.5-tier cities, and more than 8,000 seats will be available when these projects are completed.

 


In 2018, FUNWORK proposed that co-working products have entered the 3.0 upgrade phase. In cooperation with a world-renowned space design company, with different culture and landmark architectural features as the core, FUNWORK will build different projects with one unique feature. At the same time, all 3.0 projects adopt green ecology, health, and natural and artificial intelligence as the common concept. Double-glazed glass is used between rooms to enhance sound insulation. Air recycling systems and PM 2.5 filters are used. All furniture meets international environmental standards and is ergonomically designed, and Meeting rooms have different themed styles to enhance interactive fun. In addition to office space, there are also functional areas such as book stores, movie theaters and meditation rooms.
